Dear Madison Central School District Families and Community Members,

I am honored to serve as the new superintendent of the Madison Central School District and to partner with our students, families, staff, school board, and community members in this important work.

I was raised near Murdo, South Dakota. After graduating from Jones County High School, I earned degrees from Northwestern College, SDSU, University of Sioux Falls, and USD. This year marks my 25th year in education. I have previously served as a superintendent in the De Smet School District and a principal and school counselor in the White River and Todd County School Districts. 

At Madison Central, we are guided by the vision:

TO EDUCATE ALL STUDENTS TO FULLY ACHIEVE THEIR PERSONAL AND ACADEMIC POTENTIAL AS LIFELONG LEARNERS SKILLED IN COMMUNICATION, PROBLEM SOLVING, AND GLOBAL RESPONSIBILITY.

We strive to meet each student where they are - honoring their unique strengths, interests, and backgrounds - while empowering them to reach their full potential.

We value the partnership with our parents and our community. Parents know their children best, and this parent and school partnership is valuable in helping us to support the unique needs of students.
